Craftsmanship
Every project is made by hand and finished to a standard we'll gladly put our name on.
About · Founded by Jermahl Coleman
JECO Studios is the multidisciplinary practice of Jermahl Coleman — an architect's eye and a musician's ear — offering Design, Photo, Film, and Sound as four independent studios, each held to the same standard of craft.
JECO began with Jermahl Coleman — a creative studying architecture, and a musician by instinct. While leading a Christian college organization, he grew drawn to the craft behind a service: the way a room is designed, and everything that flows from it.
The architecture of a worship space shapes its acoustics — and acoustics shape the sound of the music and the preaching. The same design decisions, the lighting and the sight lines, shape what a camera sees in photo and film. One discipline kept leading to the next, until all four became one practice.
The foundation has never changed: to help build the Kingdom of God, to spread the Gospel, and to capture the moments only God could orchestrate. Even a simple family portrait can carry that — a quiet testimony of His grace, mercy, and protection over the people in the frame.
Today the work reaches well beyond the sanctuary, into every kind of project a client brings. But that is where the craft was formed — and it still sets the standard for the attention, care, and detail we bring to all of it.
What we hold to
Every project is made by hand and finished to a standard we'll gladly put our name on.
The small things — a sight line, a reflection, a half-second of silence — separate good work from work you remember.
The work began in service, and it still carries that intent: to do right by the people and the story in front of us.
Where we work
