JECO Studios is the multidisciplinary practice of Jermahl Coleman — an architect's eye, a musician's ear, and four studios built to work at the same standard, together or apart.
It started in the room where worship happens.
JECO started with one person — Jermahl Coleman, a creative studying architecture with a musician's instincts. While leading a Christian college organization, he got pulled into the craft behind a service: how a room is designed, and everything that flows from that one decision.
Here's the thing about a worship space: the architecture shapes the acoustics, the acoustics shape the sound of the music and the message, and the same lighting and sight lines shape what a camera sees. Pull on one thread and the rest follows. One discipline kept leading to the next, until all four became one practice.
The foundation hasn't moved: build the Kingdom, spread the Gospel, capture the moments only God could orchestrate. Even a simple family portrait can hold that — a quiet testimony of grace, mercy, and protection over the people in the frame.
The work reaches well past the sanctuary now, into every kind of project a client brings us. But that's where the craft was forged — and it's still the standard behind everything we make.
